Physical Security Planning
Whether your facility is a government building, a critical infrastructure facility,
or a commercial headquarters, today’s complex risks demand a thorough approach
to physical security and all-hazards risk mitigation. GP’s assessments consider

GP’s comprehensive physical security services include inspections, audits,
plans, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), and ongoing support to improve
and maintain the safety of your people and facility. We conduct thorough reviews
of your documentation, training programs, and past inspections. We identify problem
areas and thoroughly inspect your facility. GP then confers with area experts at
the facility to determine its strengths and weaknesses.
We also inspect all of the aspects of your physical security plan (or assist in
writing one if none exists) and the physical security measures that are already
in place. This inspection includes fencing, lighting, access control, alarms, and
remote video. We then examine your security personnel’s equipment, their knowledge
of the equipment, the way they maintain it, and other factors of their employment.
Once we have all this information, we’re then able to develop a corrective
action plan and exercises to test the site.

in both the public and private sectors. We have also helped develop key programs
for armed forces physical security training. In addition, our people are extremely
well trained—earning their certifications and serving in the military and

- Assisted with physical security inspections and force protection plan upgrades;
conducted a force protection exercise and response force exercises; and assisted
the Installation Physical Security Survey team with a force protection staff assistance
visit for the US Army Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas, Directorate of Law Enforcement
and Security
- Revised the Exxon Mobil Baton Rouge Refinery facility physical security plan to
bring it in compliance with the Maritime Transportation Security Act
- Performed 72 safety and security assessments of schools in Spartanburg County,
South Carolina
